Culturally-based Programming

Individual Growth Programs

Throughout the year, we will run several programs that aim to teach our youth about their culture and challenge them to learn from others. Some of the programs, like the Daughters of Tradition, focus on teaching traditional customs and language. Our members can also participate in conferences hosted by the United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY), which offer youth an opportunity learn about issues in their own tribal community.

Sports Programs

Our sports programs included Flag Football, Basketball, and Cheer. We are a member of the Inter Tribal Sports league, which is comprised of tribal groups from throughout Southern California. We get a chance to compete against our cousins from tribes like Pechanga, Borona, Pala, Viejas, Sycuan, and Morongo.

Community-based Programs

Every month, we dedicate at least 1 workshop as a family-based activity. Through programs like our SAGE Project, we bring together families to engage in activities, based on our ancestors, that promote good overall health. Programs like our Archery Program and our Senior/Youth Collaborations offer opportunities to learn from one another and share that traditional knowledge that has made us such a resilient community.
